The sign of Shadow Falls

Shadow Falls Academy, formerly known as Shadow Falls Camp, is a summer camp-turned-boarding school that harbors adolescent supernaturals to learn about their origins, the history of supernaturals, and how to properly harness their abilities. It also serves as a place to teach young supernaturals the origins of all species and inspire peace between them.

History[]

The camp was formerly known as Bone Creek Camp, due to dinosaur footprint tracks in the area.

Shadow Falls was initially a summer camp, but by the end of Born at Midnight, it officially became a boarding school, renaming it Shadow Falls Academy. Many purists believed it to be a negative influence on the younger generation and attempted to close down the camp by killing animals in the wildlife park next door and framing the students, though their efforts were proven futile.

The academy is under the jurisdiction of the FRU and is run by Holiday Brandon. Burnett James is the shareholder and co-camp leader, whose main responsibility is maintaining security on the campus.

In mid-2016, Holiday and Burnett gathered enough money to buy to next area to expand their property for more students.

The camp divides its students into groups based on their supernatural origins, and each group chooses one member as its leader and representative.

Meet Your Campmate Hour.

Students are to participate in an activity called "Meet Your Campmate Hour" daily, where half the students write down their names and put them into a lot while the other half draws them. A representative—mainly Chris Whitmore—is responsible for holding the activity. He would fix the lot for whoever wants to spend time with a specific person in exchange for a pint of their blood.

Once the name is drawn, the named person is to be paired with another person and mingle for one hour. It is a method for inspiring peace between the species as well as making students get to know each other.

Activities

The school has a crafting room for artwork, which Fredericka Lakota frequently uses for crafting jewelry.

There is also a kitchen for students to learn baking, and classroom cabins.

Parents Weekend

Parents are only allowed to visit on Sundays. On other days, they are required to notify the school staff beforehand.

Geography[]

TX3-150x150

The camp is located next to a wild park near a small town named Fallen in the Texas hill country.

Waterfall

There is a mystical waterfall located up the hills of the camp. According to legend, it is where the death angels frequent.

Most students and faculty steer clear of the falls due to the repelling metabolism it produces to drive away unwanted people. However, it is known to lure in ghost whisperers, who describe the place as picturesque and more beautiful than anything else in the world. The cave located behind the waterfall offers these individuals a peaceful sensation, and occasionally conjures up rare phenomena, such as repairing broken objects or sending visions of the future. It is also possible to unwanted people to fight through the fear they feel to get closer to the place.

So far, only the following have been to this place:
